چکیده
Nanostructured ZnO thin films have been deposited using a successive chemical solution deposi method. The structural, morphological, electrical and sensing properties of the films were studied different concentrations of Al-dopant and were analyzed as a function of rapid photothermal proces temperatures. The films were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, en dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron and micro-Raman spectroscopy. Electrical and sensitivity measurements were conducted as well. The average grain size is 240 and 224 Å for undo ZnO and Al-doped ZnO films, respectively. We demonstrate that rapid photothermal processing i efficientmethod for improving the quality of nanostructured ZnO films. Nanostructured ZnO films do with Al showed a higher sensitivity to carbon dioxide than undoped ZnO films. The correlations betw material compositions, microstructures of the films and the properties of the gas sensors are discus 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reser

Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanostructured Thin Film by Sol- Gel Method and Evaluation of Gas Sensing Properties
Ethanol (C2H6O) sensitivity of zinc oxide (ZnO) thin film has been studied in present work. Semiconductor thin films of zinc oxide (ZnO) were deposited onto alkali-free glass substrates by the sol–gel method and dip-coating technique. The ZnO sol was synthesized by dissolving zinc acetate dehydrate in ethanol, and then adding Tetra ethanol-amine. The as-coated films were preheated at 150 ºC fo...

Undoped and Sn, Ni-doped nanostructured ZnO thin films were deposited on glass substrates using a successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method at room temperature. The SILAR deposited zinc oxide films have been rapid photothermal processing (RPP) at various temperatures to study the effect of annealing on the sensing properties. Structural, electrical and sensing properties wer...
متن کاملZnO Nanowires/Nanobelts Structured CO Gas Sensor
Zinc oxide nanowires/nanobelts thin films were prepared by thermal evaporation deposition of Zn on two different kinds of substrates, namely Cr-glass and Cr-<100> n-type Si. ZnO nanostructured based COgas sensing thin films were formed, and the morphologies of these films were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The sensing response of the films toward CO gas at operating temper...
متن کاملEffects of Surface Modification on the Recovery Time and Stability of Nanostructured Tin Oxide Thick Films Gas Sensors
Along with high sensitivity in detecting gas, the response and recovery times of semiconductor gas sensors are of considerable importance for real life applications. In most cases, the recovery time is more than the response time. At the same time, water vapor present in the ambient, is chemisorbed on the tin oxide, SnO2 surface and the water molecules dissociate into hydroxyl species, which ac...

Different zinc oxide (ZnO) nanostructured thin films were grown on glass substrates at low temperatures by combining successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method and chemical bath deposition (CBD). Morphologies and structures of the samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The reacti...
